I cannot believe I have not updated this since before graduation. I mean, that was several months ago for crying out loud. Still, I guess it's as good as any time to go on somewhat a rant, isn't it? I've been thinking a lot lately - which probably isn't conducive to anyone's health, but still... - and I guess one of the things I've been thinking about the most is school. I'm...what? Two months officially out of high school? Never to return again? And I've been looking through pictures on Facebook, and talking to friends from school, and everything else...I don't know, I guess in a way I desperately miss it. I mean there are some things that I loathed about school, but then there were things that I greatly enjoyed. I had so much fun with all of my friends and everything. And that's part of what I miss.

I miss being that high school girl who had absolutely nothing to worry about except what she was going to wear on that first day of school, where she was going to sit for classes, etc. In a way, it was the best time of my life. Not having to worry about anything and just being able to have a good time. Yes, I'll be the first to admit there were things that I didn't like, some of the classes for example. But looking back on it, I would trade everything now just to go back and sit in those classes again.

With summer ending, I'm still trying to convince myself that I won't be going back to school. I mean I have college to look forward to, but being in the middle of moving and whatnot, that won't be until January if I get lucky. So in the mean time I get to look for a job and everything of the sort. Great fun, right? Really though...I miss school. I miss my friends, my teachers, the homework, and everything. Maybe I'm the only one, or maybe I'm not. I won't ever know, but I want to go back. In fact if I could trade anything in the world to go back to at least my last year of school, believe me I probably would. Even if there were some finer moments than others, I would go back and relive all of them just to have that opportunity. So for those still in high school, be thankful. You may want to get out now, but you'll want to go back later.
